CFast SATA Cards

BE64MGMZZ-XN000-D - SATA - CFast - 64GB - SLC

CFast memory cards offer high-speed data transfer solutions and large capacities. This makes them a good fit for industrial applications that need a combination of speed and power for high-resolution videos and other large files. Industrial CFast cards are ideal for devices that will be used in rugged operating conditions, where temperature extremes and high levels of shock and vibration are likely. Get the facts about CFast SATA cards here.

CFast Basics

Although CompactFlash, or CF, cards have long been a standard form of memory—particularly for photos, videos, and other graphics files—when it came to the industrial market, there has been one concern: the PATA interface. CFast cards are the solution. CFast cards combine all of the benefits of familiar CompactFlash technology with the higher speeds of the SATA interface. CFast cards provide an option for industrial users who have relied on CompactFlash for a boot drive or storage, but who are facing a processor change that requires them to move to a SATA interface. CFast cards are fully compliant with SATA standards, offering the speed and reliability that industrial devices require.

CFast Standards

Just like CompactFlash cards, CFast products are governed by standards set by the CompactFlash Association. This allows designers to know exactly what they are getting when they select a CFast card, regardless of the manufacturer. In terms of size, CFast cards are 3.6mm in height, rather than 3.3mm like standard CF cards, but the other dimensions are the same. In industrial grade formats, CFast cards offer extended temperature ranges, from -40 degrees C to 85 degrees C, and can also handle exacting amounts of shock and vibration without loss of function.

CFast Customizations

At Delkin, extensive customizations are available for CFast cards. These include custom testing, labels, content and image loading, and serialization. Conformal coating is also available. We can even provide fully customized designs to meet the unique needs of your device. Additionally, our CFast cards are available in capacities ranging from 1GB to 64GB.
