Industrial SSDs are designed with a controlled BOM—Bill of Materials—that includes the flash, controller, and firmware. With a controlled BOM, the SSD will not have component changes until the parts number is discontinued. Further, you will be notified of these changes before they occur, allowing you to rely on your SSD for even critical data logging.

Industrial SSDs are available in a range of capacities in SLC flash. The technical specs are as follows:

  • -40 to 85 degrees C operating temperature
  • -50 to 100 degrees C storage temperature

Industrial SLC 2.5” SSDs are also available for legacy SATA designs with either a standard 2.5” HDD or SSD slot. These SSDs have larger capacity ranges—up to 256GB—as well as faster sequential read and write performance capabilities.
