Above all else, industrial flash storage devices must be reliable. After all, they are used to store mission-critical data, often in extremely taxing conditions. One of the best ways to ensure that a storage device will work as expected in operating conditions is to partner with a manufacturer and offer testing reliability services. Delkin is proud to offer a range of reliable testing options for our customers. What Kinds of Tests Are Available?

At Delkin, we perform Design Verification Testing, or DVT, on all new designs, as well as Ongoing Reliability Testing, or ORT, on all of the products we manufacture. By continually testing reliability and performance, we can ensure that the products we sell always meet our high standards.

 

In addition to DVT and ORT, we also offer Highly Accelerated Life Testing, or HALT. With this type of testing, we simulate long-term operating conditions to ensure that our products perform as expected. HALT is particularly helpful for troubleshooting any issues that OEMs encounter in the field. It can also be used to test custom product designs before they are finalized. That way, we can ensure that any issues with the host application or usage model are identified in advance of production.

 

How Does Delkin Ensure Testing Reliability?

Delkin’s manufacturing and testing facilities are located within the United States, making it easy for us to perform these tests with our own state-of-the-art equipment. Since Delkin performs testing in-house, we are able to monitor the testing conditions to ensure testing reliability. Our team has the knowledge and experience needed to simulate real-world conditions for a device, without surpassing the expected usage model. If any problem should arise, we will investigate it until we have identified its cause and can provide an effective solution to the customer.
