Account Executive - Domestic OEM / Industrial Sales

Under general supervision from the Director of Sales, identifies and contacts prospective clients, generates sales proposals, and services existing accounts, ensuring quality and consistency of service and/or product delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell to customers and prospects on the phone and in person, handle incoming calls, follow-up sales leads, prospect, and place outbound calls to strategic resellers
- Develop and maintain long term sales relationships with customers
- Provide account base with exceptional customer service
- Meet or exceed business plans for target markets
- Develop new and creative marketing strategies
- Provide feedback for product improvements
- Attend sales meetings and training
- Maintain daily administrative account management duties
- Assist prospects in the selection of products best suited to their needs and prepare samples or literature for mailing
- Familiarize established accounts with new products or services and developments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to communicate English effectively, both orally and in writing. Fluency in other languages beneficial
- Presentation skills and ability to persuade and influence others
- Prior experience in storage solutions for Enterprise, OEM and Industrial Channels
- Excellent product knowledge
- Training in sales and customer service
- Proven track record in relationship based sales
- Advanced computer skills in MS Word and Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and customer service skills
Working Conditions:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment
- Travel 1-2 times per quarter
- No or very limited physical effort required
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related field.
