Human Resources Director

We seek a dynamic, bottom line oriented Human Resource professional to join us in a management role. We are searching for an effective manager, someone with the depth and breadth of experience to make a significant contribution as part of our senior management team. This position is responsible for managing the multiple facets of the HR function, including policy/process creation and management, compensation/benefits (analysis, design, administrator), employee relations/coaching, performance management, training, regulatory compliance, EEO, workers’ compensation, recruiting, HRIS, and Payroll.

Our position requires the use of influence, facilitation, and collaboration to ensure fairness and consistency throughout the company, and we seek candidates able to build credible and lasting positive relationships. Organizational skills are key, as is the ability manage multiple priorities and ever changing demands.


  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred; PHR/SPHR is required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a professional Human Resources management role, some as a sole contributor

Applications/Design Engineer

We seek an experienced and hands-on Applications/Design Engineer with a passion for providing direct technical support to our customers and to our internal staff. In this role, you will:

  • Research and report on our capabilities, design and develop new products, and adapt existing products to meet customer expectations
  • Support Product Management in providing technical documentation for the development of new product proposals
  • Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis investigations tied to customer host environments and provide the data to our customers and internal staff, collaborating with staff to identify solutions
  • Team up with Engineering and Quality to address sustaining engineering and customer qualification issues like custom requirements, host application F/A, etc.
  • Perform as a resource to support our Sales team as their technical expert, responding in a timely manner to technical questions and issues and maintaining the Industrial FAQ database.


  • BS in Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and experience, and a minimum of 8 years directly related experience in a technology development and/or applications support environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with non-volatile solid state memory devices
  • Possess basic soldering skills, the ability to troubleshoot to the component level, and be able to quickly understand test equipment tool functionality
  • Solid experience with reliability concepts: MTBF, FIT, temperature acceleration
  • Proficient at the use of oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DVM), logic analyzers, and other test equipment to perform testing of devices such as resistors, capacitors, voltage regulator, NAND chips, etc.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of PCB assembly process
  • Proficient in Windows/Linux Operating systems and MS Office software and be able to create spreadsheets and provide data analyses

Senior Quality Engineer

Quality is our top priority, and we work extremely hard to assure a high level of quality that not only meets but exceeds the demands of our customers. This key position is responsible for creating, implementing, and improving our overall Quality Management System and managing supplier quality to drive improvements in product quality. In this role, you will establish quality assurance processes, methods, tools and practices consistent with our high standards. Requirements include:

  • BSEE
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the electronic manufacturing industry; directly related experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing suppliers in Taiwan and China
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Experience in Reliability engineering is preferred, that which is associated with lifecycle management of products
  • Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analytical skills are required to lead, influence, and drive change
  • Must be proficient using quality analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, FMEA, SPC, etc.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create technical reports and presentations
  • Assertive professional with leadership skills and abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet development and analysis
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be organized and possess well developed time management skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30-50%)


Quality Technician

We seek a motivated and well experienced Quality Technician to support the Quality System throughout our Manufacturing floor and Receiving Inspection. You will ensure incoming materials and components conform to specifications, mechanically inspecting items per dimensional drawings with various measuring tools and verifying items per spec sheet using computer tools and various test devices. You will review supplied documentation per purchase order details and industry standards, including certificates of conformance, pack lists, and test reports. You will play a critical role in escalating and communicating vendor and component and material issues to all stakeholders. And you will perform in-process inspections in manufacturing, audit set ups per production traveler and work instructions, and perform out-of-box audits on finished goods. Requirements include:

  • Minimum 5 years in electronic manufacturing industry and production environment
  • Certifications and/or experience in IPC-610, inspection, Six Sigma, and Lean principles
  • College degree or professional certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Excel to create spreadsheets
  • Computer literacy, experience navigating Windows
  • 5 years of experience using all mechanical and electronic inspection tools
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience transacting inventory in MRP systems
  • Ability to travel within Southern California on a limited basis


Product and Technical Communications Manager

We are searching for a technical Product Management professional in the data storage industry to support key technology supplier and partner relationships. You will manage existing product lines and the development of additional products from concept to ongoing maintenance after marketing release. Working cross functionally, you will be responsible for product definition, project management, product roadmap planning, and the development of product specifications and technical content. And you will define, update and publish product specifications and datasheets and create product market requirements and associated technical content and documentation. Requirements include:

  • BS in Engineering; will consider a degree in Business or Marketing with technical training and/or experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or technical communications and marketing
  • Experience with products and technology in the areas of NAND flash, storage controllers, and industrial class SD, CF and SATA
  • Technical communication skills and exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong business judgement and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and write technical marketing content and documentation

Senior SMT Process Manufacturing Engineer

We seek a highly skilled professional to support our Operations team. This position is responsible for creating and controlling manufacturing processes, product manufacturability, quality, and reliability. In this role, you will design and implement manufacturing process controls that demonstrate statistical acceptance and improved yields and work closely with Production and Quality to drive improvements in product quality. Requirements include:

  • BS in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 10 years of directly related experience as a SMT Process Manufacturing Engineer in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • Expert SMT manufacturing experience, hands-on; must have the ability to program pick-and-place equipment, define oven profiles, and measure and analyze yields to drive improvements
  • BGA, BGA rework, thermal profiling, x-ray, screen printing, reflow profiling experience is required
  • Experience in an ISO-9001 environment is required, AS9100 is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SMT materials and equipment, inventory control, and kitting
  • Knowledge and experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles
  • Six sigma experience (Black or Green belt) is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet creation and analysis
  • Assertive professional with leadership skills and abilities, previous experience in a Lead or senior role
  • Demonstrable problem solving capabilities and the ability to provide solutions
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and/or Quality
