Supplier Quality Engineer

We want you! If you are a passionate and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer, consider joining our collegial team of professionals. This position is responsible for creating, implementing, and improving our Supplier Quality Management System to help drive improvements in product quality, consistent with the demand of our customers. We seek a highly skilled and experienced professional who meets our requirements:

  • Fluency in conversational and written Mandarin language (preferred)
  • Minimum five years of experience managing suppliers in Taiwan and China
  • 10 years working with electronic manufacturing services/ contract manufacturers
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analytical skills to lead, influence, and drive change
  • Must be proficient using quality analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, FMEA, SPC, etc.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create technical reports and presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet development and analysis
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be organized and possess well developed time management skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30-50%)


Quality Technician

We want you! We seek a motivated and well experienced Quality Technician to support the Quality System throughout our Manufacturing floor and Receiving Inspection. You will ensure incoming materials and components conform to specifications, mechanically inspecting items per dimensional drawings with various measuring tools and verifying items per spec sheet using computer tools and various test devices. You will review supplied documentation per purchase order details and industry standards, including certificates of conformance, pack lists, and test reports. You will play a critical role in escalating and communicating vendor and component and material issues to all stakeholders. And you will perform in-process inspections in manufacturing, audit set ups per production traveler and work instructions, and perform out-of-box audits on finished goods. Requirements include:

  • Minimum 5 years in electronic manufacturing industry and production environment
  • Certifications and/or experience in IPC-610, inspection, Six Sigma, and Lean principles
  • College degree or professional certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Excel to create spreadsheets
  • Computer literacy, experience navigating Windows
  • 5 years of experience using all mechanical and electronic inspection tools
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience transacting inventory in MRP systems
  • Ability to travel within Southern California on a limited basis


Product and Technical Communications Manager

We want you! We are searching for a technical Product Management professional in the data storage industry to support key technology supplier and partner relationships. You will manage existing product lines and the development of additional products from concept to ongoing maintenance after marketing release. Working cross functionally, you will be responsible for product definition, project management, product roadmap planning, and the development of product specifications and technical content. And you will define, update and publish product specifications and datasheets and create product market requirements and associated technical content and documentation. Requirements include:

  • BS in Engineering; will consider a degree in Business or Marketing with technical training and/or experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or technical communications and marketing
  • Experience with products and technology in the areas of NAND flash, storage controllers, and industrial class SD, CF and SATA
  • Technical communication skills and exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong business judgement and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and write technical marketing content and documentation
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
